Worst Experiences With An Isp - 1/5 I had world xhchange high speed internet for several months. I never received a consistent speed and was genrally dissapointed. Upon moving house, I called three weeks in advance to ask for my internet to be moved. The customer service agent told me it would be automatically switched with my new number. Three weeks later I move into new house. No internet. I call them again and they say that I need to put in a request and it could take several weeks tohave it turned on. I keep calling every day to check status (as I work from home) and they constantly give me the run around. Finally after 2 weeks of this I go back to telecom's xtra for my service. I call World Xchange and ask them to cancel my service. . A few days later a technician called and asked if I still wanted the internet on. I told him I had already cancelled with them and to please check my status. Months later I get bills from then charging me for months of service after I had cancelled I called and the agent was belligerent and argued with me that I had not cancelled my service, to which I insisted. I have never rec'd such poor customer service as I had with them.
